This silkscreened design of "The Jester/Fool." the mascot of the Merry Band of Pranksters  reads "NEVER TRUST A PRANKSTER," the motto of the Merry Pranksters.  The design is from issue #1 of the gangs literary periodical, Spit In The Ocean (S.I.T.O.).
